  This place is horrible me and my husband went here on Sunday and we where double charged for our food when we realized this I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty. The manager on duty informed me that they could do nothing at all to assist me and I would have to wait until the following Tuesday to receive any help. I was upset about this and questioned the fact that a manager could not refund she was speaking to me in a ghetto fashion and never tried to assist me she continued to push this off on someone else. I then called corporate to see if I could get assistance they took all my info and said they would call with in 48 hrs. This never happened so I will never go to another steak n shake in my life the food is nasty anyway

  My Wife and I had Breakfast here, today, 11-28-2016. Our order was delivered by a very nice young Lady. My hash browns were burned on one side, which was showing. I thought accidents happen, or maybe they were breaking in a new Chef, so I didn't say anything. Within a minute or two, a gentleman dressed in a Supervisory uniform stopped by our table and asked if I had ordered my hash browns like that? I said no, and he asked if he could bring me out some new ones. I said ok, and he took my whole plate, replaced everything with a very warm, new, perfect order as I had originally placed it. He turned out to be the Manager, Reggie B.
  It's so nice when a Manager has his eyes on the Service and quality that he is in-charge of. My Wife and I thought he was (is) Great, and we told him so.

  I went to this Steak N Shake last night aroun 10pm with my boyfriend. We walk in and there is an older gentleman, and 2 girls. We stand by the "wait to be seated" as we see a total of 4 waiters walk past and ignore us, including a manager. Finally, we end up just seating ourselves because 10 minutes later, we were still being ignored. A young man came over to take our orders after he finished yelling at someone rather loudly behind the drink bar. We get our drinks and there is a dead bug noticeably floating on top of my water. Our waiter has disappeared and the manager comes over to bring us our food and I say "there is a bug in my drink, may I please have another glass?" She laughs and goes "oh sorry." We had ordered chili which came out after our meals and shakes which also came before our chili. I ordered a red velvet Shake which was not blended correctly and tasted terrible. The service was horrible for only having 3 other people in the restaurant with 4 waiters. During our visit, the lone gentleman was yelled by 2 waiters who became frustrated when he told them what he received was not what he ordered. I have been to this Steak N Shake a multitude of times, as I live in the area, but each time, my service and experience just gets worse.
